I am the Program Director of our Guardianship, Advocacy and Planning Services Program here at The Arc Oregon and a National Certified Guardian. Through my professional career I have spent over 20 years working with and supporting people with intellectual / developmental disabilities. I have been a Services Coordinator, Child Developmental Disability Foster Care Provider, Adult Developmental Disability Foster Care Provider, Family Network Program Coordinator, and Adaptive and Inclusion Specialist.
My career trajectory started in 3rd grade when I was paired with a fellow student from the self contained special education classroom. We got to have lunch together and play on the playground together. From there I was hooked and always on the lookout for opportunities to support others. This spreads to my personal life as I am raising a daughter who experiences disability and she is a huge part of my why and my dedication to making sure parents have access to information and resources.
In my free time my daughters and I love to camp, cook, go on long walks, spoil our pets and spend time with family.
