#102A: School District Services for 18-21 Year Old Students

Description:

Students who exit high school with Modified or Extended Diplomas or Certificates of Attendance are eligible for school services until age 21. This session will explore 18-21 school services, how these services are individualized to each students unique preferences, interests needs, strengths and post secondary goals and the benefits from collaborating with community providers. We will explore the seamless transition model, professional learning communities, school participation in Employment First and aligning goals/services in the IEP, ISP, and IPE.

Learning Objectives:

  • We will identify the goal/purpose of 18-21 school services for students
  • We will explore the benefits of collaborating/partnering with community providers
  • We will share ideas on how to best share information with community partners with our mutual clients
