An open and frank conversation about the intersection of disability and sexuality. Alva Gardner will share her experience growing up as a woman with a disability, exploring identity as a sexual being. We will aim to dismantle the taboo nature that society still places around the topic of disability and sexuality.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Disillusioning preconceived notions of people with disabilities, when it comes to sex and sexuality
  2. Redefining what “sexually active” means
  3. How can you support someone with a disability on their journey to learn and discover their sexual Identity?
