February 6 @ 10:00 am 11:30 am

Instructor(s): Melissa Ballard-Batiste, LCSW

Join us for this training series! This workshop focuses on cultural humility to improve cultural competence and how it improves relationships in counseling and case management.

Participants will be able to:

  • explore mental health stigma and learn to recognize barriers clients face
  • discuss how culture shapes clients’ experiences in mental health services.
  • gain strategies to value diversity, reflect on their own biases, and deepen their understanding of clients’ backgrounds.
  • have the opportunity to enhance inclusive, empathetic, and person-centered care, leading to better client engagement and outcomes.
  • Attend Part 1, Part 2, or both sessions to enhance your skills—no prior mental health license required. Certificates of attendance will be provided, and to earn CEUs, please ensure you are fully present for both sessions. Don’t miss this opportunity to grow and learn together!
