Please join us as we discuss the importance of grassroots advocacy and how to be your own best advocate. We will share personal experiences about what works and doesn’t work to provide you with practical tips to use for advocacy in your local community as well as at the state level. Presenters will explain the importance of developing good relationships with legislators, share examples of successful advocacy strategies and outcomes, and discuss why it is important that people hear our stories!
