Description:

Everyone wants a good life! Derek is a self-advocate from South Dakota and will talk about what a good life is for him.
Derek will share how he used a “Trajectory” to plan his day-to-day life and future. The “Trajectory” helped him figure out what was important to and for him as well as explore new possibilities. He’ll talk about work, volunteering, connecting with others, and more! Right now, life is good, and he share how he got there!

Learning Objectives:

  • Participants will learn how a “Trajectory” can help them plan and problem-solve.
  • Participants will learn a way to think about their future – short term goals and long term goals.
  • Participants will learn ways they can be involved and contribute to their community.
