Person Centered Thinking

Person Centered Thinking is the foundation that underlies all person centered approaches. It is essential for anyone who provides supports or services, develops plans, or participates in person centered planning.
This two-day training will provide classroom and hands-on learning to gain person centered discovery, listening, and management skills that can be used in all job positions. Practical application of person centered skills, using tools, and developing person centered descriptions and one-page profiles are included.
Tips and Tools for Supporters

This workshop is for anyone in a support role caring for people with disabilities of any age. Using person-centered practices, we will explore how to support someone during self-care tasks and activities such as preparing meals, housework, and navigating their community. There will also be time for participants to share their own “tips and tools”!
