Title GAPS Advocate
Favorite Quote Helping one person might not change the world. But it could change the world for one person.
My “Why” Helping Advocate and being the voice for those who can not be the voice for themselves. Speaking out against what is right and wrong. Helping those who need the supports to achieve their goals and dreams. Watching individuals reach their highest potentials possible and accomplish their dreams.
About Me My goal in life is my Bachelor’s of Nursing Sciences (BSN) I am a mom to 4 children, 2 whom are 4.0 honor roll students, 1 child who experiences Autism, and another who experiences Type 1 diabetes. Managing a full time job with The Arc, a part time job with the I/DD group homes I have worked with for 7 years, and being a full time mom, let alone a mom for 2 of those children with high needs is a priority that involves constant planning and balancing.
How I Can Help GAPS Advocate in the Guardian department for The Arc. I came from working in I/DD group homes solely working with the medical department/team, teaching/training medical to the company along side the nurse.
