My “Why” There are some definite flaws, within Oregon’s Developmental Disabilities Services System. My why, is to help improve this system for those like myself, who rely on these services and supports to simply Live life.
About Me I’ve worked in the field of Human Services for almost 10 years, starting my career as a volunteer, with ODHS while still in high school. My first paid job was with Full Access Eugene, as the Community Outreach Advocate. I did that from 2014 leaving in early 2018 to join the Arc Lane County, as the Outreach Coordinator. I was there for about a year and a half before taking on a consultant role with the Oregon council on Developmental Disabilities. I held that contract for almost 3 years. Before joining The Arc Oregon in February 2021. I absolutely love my job, and the people I get to work with every day! Outside of work, my dad and I enjoy homebrewing, beer, and attending tasting events.
How I Can Help If you have a question about the history of Oregon’s DD services system. I’m pretty knowledgeable, and if I don’t have the answer, I can help you find the person who would.
