Welcoming The Arc Oregon's newest staff
This year The Arc Oregon has welcomed two new staff members: Lydia Fujinaga, as OSNT administrative assistant, and Kelli Wainscott, as ERC consultant. We asked them to share a bit about themselves.
Lydia Fujinaga
Hello everyone! I joined The Arc Oregon back in April as the new OSNT Administrative Assistant and I’m excited to be here, supporting the organization and helping our Salem office run smoothly.
Previously, I worked at the Institute of Technology in Salem helping students with their finances and supporting the administrative team. Before then, I worked in customer service and tech support at T-Mobile and at a cryptocurrency exchange.
In my free time, I enjoy attending and performing Celtic folk dances, playing with my pet rats, and wandering around outside, trying to identify the birds and plants I see.
Kelli Wainscott
Hi Everyone! I’m Kelli Wainscoat and I joined The Arc Oregon in February 2024 as an ERC consultant for the Central Oregon area. I first became tuned into the in-home care scene when my mother quite suddenly needed hospice care. I was in awe of the skilled and caring people who helped her stay at home at the end of her life with comfort and dignity. I became an in-home care worker myself for several years after that, as well as a Direct Support Professional assisting folks with intellectual and developmental disabilities to be engaged with their community. I believe deeply in the value of using our community’s financial and people resources to help every single member of our community to live their best life.
I have lived in Oregon for over 10 years and am simply in love with its mountains, coastline, and forests. My home base is in Bend, and in my free time I love to hike, camp, write, and knit.
